About Us

We believe that Odinism is the ancestral and ethnic religion of the Northern European Pan-Germanic peoples. Our aim is the revitalization of the native ancestral Germanic religion, to provide and impart accurate information to our folk of their sacred spiritual heritage and thus grow in size.

We are organized under tribal democratic lines that operate within the confines of the groups beliefs and principles.

We are strengthened by our partnerships within the greater Odinist and Folkish Asatru community

We strongly encourage and emphasize fellowship and spiritual growth amongst our members.

We are named after the ravens of Odin, which represent the intellect of the mind and spirit of the soul under the guidance of the patron God of the Hearth as we view him as the mighty creator and divine ancestor of our people. We do however also honour all of the other Gods and Goddesses of our Heathen Germanic pantheon and turn to them for strength, guidance and wisdom.

We gather together with Family and friends for sumbels, blots, feasts and games on our holy days. We study the Pan-Germanic Religion, Languages, Sagas, Eddas, Runes, and we practice the arts & crafts of our ancient ancestors that is our cultural inheritance; mead making, rune carving and more …..

We seek the legal recognition of Odinism as a legitimate religion, guarantying all the rights and benefits thereof.

The Ravenshof Odinic Hearth is not a political movement – a member’s political outlook, if any, is up to them as free people. This does not mean members cannot discuss matters which affect us all. Indeed individual members would be severely neglecting their civic duty if they neglected or ignored the ethical matters that are of importance to us and being the wider community. But although it is expected of members that they apply Odinist principles in all endeavors, they involve themselves in political activity as private individuals not as representatives of the our Hearth. Under no circumstances are members permitted to use our holy and ancient faith as a tool for the promotion of their political views.
